First day in Paris

After having the most expensive pint ever outside fancy nightclubs we headed today to Louvre. Yes, after the default smootching (it is Paris!!) we headed to our first Museum during this trip. Call us dulls but after all we are archaeologists. Some hours later we had filled quite a lot of space on our memory cards. What did we do before digital cameras! We did visit the collections with our special interests: the Etruscans and Levant. Both collections were somehow smaller than expected but there were many items of interest anyway. The museum was so huge that after the required checking of Mona Lisa and other Leonardo da Vinci paintings, we decided to pass Rubens rooms on the other side of the courtyard. The evening will be spent in the Latin Quarter.

That's all at the moment. Cheers, Ulla
